The number and variety of eateries and hostelries in the Lake District is too large to do justice to them all, suffice to say you will have a broad range of eating and drinking experiences available.

Whilst on holiday why not eat and drink the locally produced fare that can be found at many places throughout the county.

Sample locally made pies at the Mill Inn, Mungrisdale, or an exquisite vegetarian meal at the Quince & Medlar in Cockermouth, or fish & chips at the Old Keswickian (Keswick).
